LISA BRECHT

Lisa is proud to be bringing “Yummy Academy” to life. A writer most of her life, Lisa has won awards with her ability to craft her words and capture an audience.
“It was a natural progression”, she says. “I want my kids to grown up and be self-sufficient in the kitchen….we’re in the kitchen a lot and they have the desire to learn! They have such fun with it. I simply took that experience and put it to an audience from a kids’ point of view!!”
In addition, she says “cooking has always been such fun for me. I love to be in the kitchen and preparing yummy things for my family to enjoy or entertaining for a crowd”. 
Another favorite hobby of Lisa’s? “shopping for kitchen gadgets!......I love ‘em!”

While she’s part of the creative team that writes and produces Yummy Academy, she and her husband keep busy parenting three children. In her spare time she enjoys water skiing, playing softball, and playing the drums for her local community theatre. 

Lisa, her husband Jeff and their children reside in a suburb of  Minneapolis, MN.
